No Ruler
No Ruler is an application that provides measurement for objects that are commonly found in your pocket, bag or around you. By knowing the size of these objects, you can use them as an approximate measuring device. A built in conversion calculator aids in this process.
For example, let say you are at your friends house and he wants to give you his old desk. Of course he doesn’t have a ruler or tape measure to determine how big the desk is. So you launch the No Ruler application and find that a dollar bill is 6.14 inches long. By placing the dollar bill, end on end, you find the desk is 5 dollar bills long, or 30.7 inches. You know the space at home is 32 inches, so you can take the desk with peace mind, knowing that it will fit.
